The bed and breakfast Les Grands Prés in Provence are situated at Piégon in the heart of the Nyons region of Drôme provençale. Drôme provençale is pleasant in all seasons. Nyons is sheltered from the Mistral and is known as the "petit Nice" due to an exceptional amount of sunshine per annum. During the winter months we organise the gourmand week-end around the truffle and olive. Walking is particularly pleasant during the spring and autumn. The summer brings an exceptional rich variety of festivals, some renowned and others less so,such as the festival in the antique theater in Vaison la Romaine. This is also the time for contemporary art exhibitions. |
