Our two bed and breakfast guest rooms are on the first floor of the house. On the lime-washed walls you will find works of contemporary art by Jean Chollet (your host), Bobby Camus, Pierre Wassef and Emmanuelle Marlange. The decorative fabrics are the work of Claire Marie Neufville. The beds and mattresses are of ample size - either as twin beds or doubles. |

Breakfasts
are made from a variety of our own organic products or those of other
local producers: fresh fruit from our orchard, freshly-squeezed apricot
juice, home-made jams, lavender honey, boiled eggs, picodon goats' cheese from the Drome, spelt-wheat bread . . . |

In
the spacious Italian-style shower rooms, the walls are finished with
naturally coloured lime stucco plaster - and all the tiles are
hand-made by Sylvie Amadei. The floor coverings are from the Scourtinerie
in Nyons (a specialised local workshop which produces rounds of
material used in the olive oil presses) and look beautiful on the old
cement tiles. Also from close to home - the liquid soap in the showers
is olive-oil based 'savon de Marseille' |

The GARANCE room is south facing. From the bedroom and shower windows, you can see the remains of the old hilltop village of Piégon, which has all but disappeared. Other such villages have survived: Aubres and Montaulieu near Nyons, Faucon and Le Crestet near Vaison, Brantes close to Mont Ventoux and la Garde Adhemar, close to St Paul Trois Chateaux.

The RESEDA room
faces south and west. Towards the west, the 1,000 year old romanesque
church of Notre Dame de Cadenet is visible and there is a splendid view
over typical provencal countryside (vines, olives, apricots, etc) with
the villages of Mirabel aux Baronnies and Vinsobres in the background.
